First of all we want to apologize to the customers of the second nileswan batch. We encountered a previously unknown problem with nileswan cartridges, appearing on monochrome consoles. We mentioned it in our last post, but fortunately it was fixable via a software update, which all nileswan cartridges of batch 2 shipped with. Afterwards the trouble did not end, as production only came along slowly, requiring a lot of time intensive manual rework. By the end of batch 2 with the experience gained and better equipment, everything is going much smoother now.
As of this month, we have finished sending all batch 2 cartridges to customers. As such, time has come to announce that we will put up a third batch of nileswan cartridges for sale on 30th of October 2026 12:00 UTC (13:00 CET). This time, it is not a preorder; just like batch 1, cartridges will be produced in advance and should ship out shortly after ordering.
